Minimum # of clone roots before planting?

Was just wondering if it's a bad idea to plant a clone when it only has 1 visible root? in this instance 1 long root.

Also wondering if it's better or worse to plant clones that are just starting to show roots Vs. have long roots?

Oh and I was wondering if all yellow leaves should be removed after planting clones?

Any help would be appreciated =)

It would be just fine to plant now.

I let all the leaves fall off on their own, or at least come off by just a gentle tug.

Thanks. I'm assuming the 1 root or even brand new roots coming out would continue to grow as if they were in a cloner, which in this case is a ghetto aeroponic cloner consisting of a plastic box with a hinge lid covered in a thick black garbage bag, and a fish pump with 2 tubes/airstones. Seems to work fine.
