Water Storage ?

After my last grow with unstable tap water I had to look for a new water source. Found some good well water. Now I have to start hauling it in. I'm wanting to run two, 45 to 50 gal res,s. That means storing 100 gal's for each res change and 35 to 50 gal's for adding to the res as needed.
I have a small trailer, need to find containers to move water in.
So I'm just looking for any thoughts or suggestions for both moving and storage.

a ~$20 water pump, I use an ActiveAqua 400gph with the inline option. Garden hose at Walmart is $7 for 50'. Depending on how much and how far/high you need to pump depends on how strong it needs to be

Why not cullingan type water cooler bottles? You could find them cheap locally, I think they're like 20/30 gallons, and can be lugged by one dude if he's not girly man. Plus, they're meant for potable water; storage won't throw off chemistry. Lookup water cooler service for your area.

Is an RO filter out of the question?

Maybe not.
Will also have to look into that. Know I can get one for around $250.

Or you could check ebay and get it for half that.
Water weighs 8.3 lbs per gallon, something to consider before you commit to any physical hauling as part of your process.
This graph will help determine which pump you'll want to get.
And like I said, I just got an ActiveAqua and it impressed me with its inline feature; you can attach a hose to the input, something most pumps don't have.

That's a good price! Getting a RO filter is going to be the most efficient and therefore best way to change your water supply. Just think of all the time spent filling and hauling those water containers back and forth plus money spent on gas.

Because I do, that's how.
OP - the point I am trying to make is just get a RO system. It'll save you time and money.

If I do a small soil grow it will not be a big deal moving water.
If I do hydro, may be a pain in the ass.
Will be getting 2 , 5 gal jugs Sunday. Want to see if the pH holds longer. Also need to ck ppm.

I took a barrel like picture above and ran rain water into it from a gutter. I also installed a faucet on the barrel and built a little stand for it.
