I'm guessing crappy start... 1

So don't beat me up too bad I've never had a green thumb, mine has always been a myco-thumb, but I started these about a week ago just picked them out of a bag of some good bud. Any diagnoses is welcome. I have been leaving them in the sunlight during the day then putting them under a 400watt LED for the remainder of the 18hr cycle. I honestly was just messing around at first but it looked like they were going to do good...

They look pretty good. They're not too lanked out or anything but they don't have very big leaves either. Try just leaving them under the LED all the time I used to think that my plants "craved" the sun but in reality it just confuses them. They have to adjust their respiration rates and everything else to make use of the low intensity of artificial lighting, when you put them under the sun they are getting confused because their cells are literally tuned for less light which can stunt their growth or mess them up. They will get used to whatever you do to them and stability is key to maximizing growth. Also I tend to start my seeds in those same jiffy pellets but have been realizing how key it is for a seed to be sprouted in a decent sized container because the root system develops so fast. If you start them in those jiffy pellets be sure to transplant them as soon as you see root tips coming up to the outside oft he pellet or else you could stunt the root system.
Edit:
Oh yeah I forgot to ask have you given them any nutrients? You might want to use a complete fertilizer with chelated micro nutrients diluted to about quarter strength because they can use the nutrients as soon as they start growing their first leaves and those jiffy pellets have no nutrients in them. Just be sure not to use full strength fertilizer for a while. You might want to get some FF Ocean Forest soil because it will give them everything they need for at least 2 weeks maybe 3 this way you won't have to mess with nutes for a while. It looks like your cactus is pretty healthy in the background and thats a pretty promising sign for your green thumb. : )

Yeah I gave them some half strength fert mixed with some myco-grow. I'm gonna get some of that FF stuff pretty soon. I'm gonna just start leaving them under the LEDs from now on...thanks for the info

Ya dont feed em anything for a couple weeks. nuts too early can burn/ kill em
They look super stretched. bring em closer to the light!!! maybe put a cfl bulb a couple inches above em.

Id transplant em to dixie cups. and put a large CFL bulb very close to em. or lower your light very close (but not too close that they burn).
I used a 200w cfl bulb on 24hrs VERY close to my seedlings. they never stretched, just grew leaves like mad. then i put em under the HPS light when they were bigger.

the best way to tell if the light is to close to the plants is put your hand right above the plant and if your hand feels to warm then its to hot for the plants...
do u have a fan blowing on the plants? if not you should get one. the wind from the fan will push the plants a little and that will cause the plant to grow thicker and be stronger and will be able to handle more weight when it goes into flowering and keep the stems from breaking under the bud weight.

yeah i'll be getting a fan here in a little bit. I have the light about 8 inches above them. I'll keep an eye on them so they dont overheat...

Your start is like most everyone I know who's started. Be careful; you get more and more stoked to grow better and soon you've got 1000W HPS and a deep water culture wondering how the hell you got there!
