Any of you play music in your grow room for your plants?
just a thought... a buddy of mine swears by playing the radio 24/7 IN HIS grow room for the "plants". I have never done this.
just looking for all your input or thoughts.
THANKS

ive been wondering this myself. i seen an episode of mythbusters where it seemed to help pea plants. it would be nice if it had any positive effects. music would be very easy to add to a grow.

I think there is enough evident that "music" or rhythms do effect plants in some way. I haven't done it but i would say if you have 100 optimal conditions it couldn't hurt.- if you dont, Making optimal conditions would be better then music. kinda like how you cant use c02 unless everything else is perfect.

Why would you say you can't use Co2 until you're dialed in? I disagree. I feel it would still be worth it to add Co2 in flower whether you're dialed in or not... whether your room is sealed or not, you can still inject Co2 directly into the canopy with tanks and hoses.

I am sure there is some type of benefit. But honestly its a little to hippie for me. I am not a tree hugger or anything like that. I want to provide the best for my plants, because they will provide the best to me in return. With all the money sunk into a garden for supplies and stuff like that; music just seems like overkill in some way or another.
It sounds more like a hippie trying to sell me that music increases yields by 30% or some shit like that. Besides, with all the time spent in a garden, if you listen to music while you work (like me) then they get their daily fix of music.
Just my 2 cents. I wouldn't think negatively of anyone doing it, but for me personally I'd rather focus on getting other things "just right" before I started wandering the realms of adding music to my grow.

That is true, but I see people with more light than they have plants to fill the canopy more often than not. Especially when it comes to hobby growers. They grab a sixer or thouie and put two or three 12" stringy plants under it, and wonder why they didn't get a pound. Lol.

They've done the studies. Playing music to plants helps them grow
But different type of music were better than others.

Vibrations effect everything. The earth is vibrating at certain frequencies as well. It sounds like hippie bullshit, but a lot of hippie bullshit has foundation. And science just hasn't developed enough to explain all of the old wives tales type of shit.

Yeah it's good to listen to music anyway, even if it did nothing for the plants. I decided to go ahead and take the speaker system I already had in the room and wire one of the speakers in there with the sub still outside the tent. Like I said, even if the plants don't like it, which I'm positive they do to some extent, I still like hearing tunes while I'm in there working.
Sometimes it also seems like it's not quite right to look at a bunch of pot plants without some good music playing in the background.
