Going to Amsterdam, what seeds to buy?

I'll be in Amsterdam soon, and I'll be buying new seeds.
What is a strain or two that can get me high as a kite but still energetic?
What is one that can put me to sleep?
What's your favorite strain? Do you have one?
I'm looking for extremes here, and also balance, anyone have experiences with particular strains?

For super high but still energetic I like Ak-47
For sleep Sour Diesel - though no weed gets me to sleep
My favorite strain is Jean-Guy, supposedly an Ak-47 x Whitewidow x unknown cross from Québec, Canada

Yup, my fav strain out of the Dam is AK-47 also. Amsterdam is so far behind the times when it comes to breeding. There has been nothing exciting out of there since the cheese strains started to come about.
Right now the best place on Earth for genetics is California.

Never been but if I did I might be inclined to visit Barneys or DNA's shop's. Maybe talk to someone at barneys to see if they have their dr. Grinspoon bead pheno stabilized yet.

Dr Grinspoon is a stoney sativa strain but it's no haze. The funny thing about the bead pheno is people hunt it down for a long time. They finally get it and then grow it and see the bead pheno. Looks more like a very shitty grown plant then it looks cool. Then they harvest and end up with a bag that looks like the shake in the bottom of a pound bag. What you end up with a huge bag of hash making material. The novelty of this strain is the way it grows not the finished product.
I only mention this cause if your gonna grow a long flowering sativa (we're talking 100 days of flowering at least) you should get something for your effort. Grow a little off to the side for yourself and for pictures but you won't grow it again. (not cause it's bad smoke but you're just gonna want more for your work)
Now when I saw the strain it was released in normal seeds (meaning both sexes) and was hard to find the bead pheno. I'm guessing he made feminized seeds out of a bead pheno to make it easier to find it. Which is true it should be easy to find now.
P.S. Then again you have been looking at this strain for some time so you may already know much more about it then I do.
The strain is also very Thai like. I'm guessing that's the reason for the bead pheno. Thai strains are known for their funky flowering times and funky looking deformed growth. (blueberry has Thai in it and can cause deformed leaves in the blueberry strain) Now as far as Dr. Grinspoon being a Thai that's just a guess on my part.

Yeah it is a novelty strain. But hey if your going to the dam you may as well get something wacky that's hard to get here. Can't tell you how sick I am of cookies and blue dream trash flying around. Time for some new genes in this pool. Barneys does have great cheese strains and dna has chocolope. Both great strains one for the AM and one for the PM.

I'm still sitting on those dr seeds. Once my new room is dialed in I may have to pop some and get a journal going.
