Scrog question

First I am going to do a sea of green to get some experience on flowering different plants, but after that I am going to be doing a scrog to keep my plant number low. My question is since most netting for scrog is made out of a nylon or polyester would that cause an area of concern for pests and fungus? I have seen plastic trellis netting as well but it is priced abit higher. Also what is an ideal hole size for the net?
Thanks guys! Peace N Love!

Man you can make a screen out of anything.
PVC pipe
Tied together sticks

If it does you have humidity problems.
Never measured the holes in the net for the perfect size. Anything over a few inches will do fine.

Thanks Mag! My humidity stays pretty low all the time, which could be an issue, but I don't have any issues with bugs or fungus.
I am digging that PVC pipe idea. Blonde moment for me brother, you know I overthink things.lol.
I have some extra pvc laying around in 1 foot lengths so I was going to make my own and screw in some hooks and use hemp twine to string across for the screen, plus it would allow me to make it separate from the pots and I could adjust the height for different plants. Also if I didn't need it I could just take the legs off of it and store for a later use.
Thanks again man.

Yup, unless your humidity gets to high don't worry about it.

4 - 8, 10 foot sticks of 1/2inch schedule 40 pvc (quantity of 10 foot PVC sticks dependant on how large of a grow area you have is). Eight 1/2inch three way pvc elbows. A "PVC cutter" Polypropylene twine. 3/4inch self tapping screws. A drill. A 1/8inch drill bit. An apex bit. A marker and a tape measure will make you a robust and mobile scrog net.
Are you doing a true sea of green, or are you planning on growing a bunch of plants from seed in a single area? If your plan is the later than "Scrog'ing" or "lst'ing" would be the way to keep your canopy as even as possible.

I am going to be taking clones and throwing them into flower. Pretty much have every thing listed, I'm gonna go with hemp twine since we already have so much of it. I have mother plants of Bubba, Northern Lights x Skunk, and Trainwreck. Probably wont be a whole tent full of clones, but as many as I have soil for. Trying to hold off making a trip to the grow store until my tax return gets here. Damn store is like 2 hours away. Plus not having anything to smoke on for the ride there sucks.lol.
