revegging a plant after harvest
    #69872 - 07/02/08 06:02 AM (16 years, 6 months ago)

has anyone harvested weed off their plants and left a couple of bud sights slightly unharvest and let their plant recover?

I know people have done this before but I have some questions

how did yield compare the second time around?

how long did it take to recover compared to the first time around?

there was a guy on the EDIT forums who did this to 3 White Russian plants.

It's definately slower, but if it's not that much slower and you have a constant supply of personal smoke prehaps a lazy stoner would prefer this method.

Isn't taking clones during flower ineffective, or is that only late in flowering? Hanky was telling me that it takes 3 weeks for a clone to revert back to veg from flowering.

Clones can be taken during flower but they take longer to root and also have to revert to veg growth, expect four weeks at least for them to revert properly. They also form many growth tips that produce bushy plants that wont suit a sog method.

That's his exact post from the thread "Clone from veg or flower". I like SoG so I really wouldn't want to take from flower :p

so yield is around 80%, how much extra time does it take compared to clones?

so starting over is a lot better

you would also need more light for a large plant compared to a small clone

I had my dreams!

im thinking of a t5 bank for clones/vegging

I like SoG grows but I'd veg if I tried SCRoG prehaps that's what I'll do with my next grow.

SCROG growing a pure sativa would be awesome.
