All these educational videos, series, and classes becoming available for free on the internet. Does anyone have any opinions on them? I like to think of it as a way to educate the masses, but I question whether it will really matter.
Just been watching crashcourse biology since I'm taking biochem next semester and it's been 3 years since I took Biology and I'm terrified i'm going to go full retard.

What exactly wouldn't matter?
-------------------- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

The fact people can do those courses, I just don't know if there will really be that many people motivated to watch them all.

I spend a lot of my time watching educational videos.
Been to the Kahn Academy a few times, but not recently.
I do surf the .edu sites quite a bit tho
My mild dyslexia makes doing a lot of reading kinda hard, so I prefer recorded lectures or educational videos over print.
