Can you force a male to produce pollen the way you can force a female to flower?

Hi ladies and chaps.
Just wondering if you can force a male to produce pollen early. I mean, if you go 12/12 on a lady she begins to mature and produce buds, so could the same apply for getting a male plant to produce pollen?
I can see how it could be very useful to be able to produce pollen at a time that suited you, rather than letting nature take its own course, so to speak.
Love to hear your thoughts out there.

Awesome! So you just wack the puppies in 12/12 and nature does the rest? Anything more to it than that? Do you have a rough estimate on how long it would take to start producing pollen?
Also, your avatar is cool

Takes about 3 weeks or so for the male flowers to open and start dropping pollen.

Wait about 3 weeks and cut just one branch or even the tip of one branch. Put it in a glass of water with a mirror under it and you can collect the pollen and store it.
Have fun
