I'm no tc, but that looks like nute burn.

How long have the plants been in the 3gal bags of ffof?

How often do you feed and are you testing the ppm/ec of your nute solution?

There could be a lil bit more food left in the soil causing them to burn a bit when you feed. Did this problem appear shortly after a feeding?

I'm sure you're aware of this but, even if your plants are getting the appropriate amount of nutrients, they wont be available if the ph is off.

Since you don't know the ph of your soil,I would test the run off ASAP to be certain you're not locking out nutrients.

I'd say over feeding is the issue here.

budgrowerwannabe said: Also they needed water like 3 day ago And I plan on harvesting at the beginning of November so I Started to flush?? Or I just gave each one like 6 gallons of plan ph ed water

Did you actually flush or are you asking me if you should? Sorry you lost me there.

A lot of growers flush differently. I flush my girls 3x in their life cycle. Once in the last week of veg. Once @ week 6 of flower. and then once more a week before the chop.

budgrowerwannabe said: Well with that said my soil is still wet I should I wait till it dries to test the soil ph? And I normally do check my soil run off but I guess I got lazy that day.

Yes wait until your next watering to test the run off. Since you're only in 3gal bags it shouldn't take long for them to dry out. Especially since they're in ffof....which has great drainage to begin with.

nah I'd let them recover from the flush. water normally for one or two waterings and then hit them again. Are you sure those plants are gonna be ready by the begining of november? they still look like they've got a ways to go yet.

How long have the stems and petioles been purple?

It looks like you're dealing with a phosphorus deficiency.

Your plants could be underfed or you could possibly be locking out Phosphorus with an unstable ph. Have you tested your runoff yet?

sup bud grower.

Technaflora's magical is a good product to add to your feeding regimen. It certainly can't hurt.  I use it every feeding and watering through veg and flower.

You add some magical and a tea with a lil nitrogen w/ every feed and water all through flower and your girls will be VERY happy.  :vaped:

ditch the ffof. I used to love the stuff, but their batches are very inconsistent and loaded with fillers.

If you like using soils that have a little heat to them I'd recommend Roots Organic 707. They've really improved their line up. 707 is the #1 a selling amended soil at the shop I work at. We sell 1.5 to 2 pallets of ro 707  a week and maybe 2-3 bags of ffof a week.

I use sunshine advanced #4. Nothing but mycorrhizae in it.  I used to mix ffof w/ sunshine but I'd always run into deficiencies.

You have to feed from the start with sunshine.

I feed twice a week in veg. 2 feedings a week in flower as well, but the second weekly feeding is only a tea w/ molasses, magical and a silica supp.

What I would do....

Pick up a calmag supplement. The pics you posted on 1/27 all show calcium deficiencies.

ditch the grow bags. they're a pita. Transplant into a 5gal plastic pot and cut the plant back a bit. at least remove the tallest branch that you had to bend. You need to reshape this plant so that it pays you for your time and effort.

get some foam board insulation underneath that panda film on your floor. The air around your plants may be the right temps but I'm willing to bet your rootzone is waaaaay too fucking cold. Which is also why your the stems of your plant are purple.

Personally I don't care too much for ffof. I would transplant into sunshine #4 and use a mycorrhizal supp with your transplant. I use this product this product when I transplant.

You may want to consider using a more complete nutrient line with better additives like gen hydro, gen organics, roots organics, advanced nutrients, Humboldt nutrients or botanicares line.

It's gonna cost you a little more to run one of those lines, but you'll be far less likely to be running into these issues.

:2cents:

That's interesting the store owner steered you away form a ppm pen.I'm surprised he did. I would strongly recommend getting one.

are both of the clones in the pics you posted the same strain?

I suppose it's possible if you fucked up a few times in a row with your ph, but you only did it once if at all right?

It looks like nute burn to me anyway.

I wouldn't worry about flushing. Just keep an eye on the new growth. I think it'll be fine.

blue lab makes a great ppm pen. Imo they make one of the best pens on the market.  I own a blue lab ph and ppm pen. I still like my tri meter better, but hand held pens are soooo much easier to carry from one room to the next. Plus you don't have to worry about rfi interference with them as opposed to meters with exposed probes
