A box that is 3.5' wide 2' deep and 3.5' tall, as well as a 70w hps light and a 4' by 6" fluorescent light that has 4 65w bulbs. I've been reading and I see I need a more powerful HPS light. I can also make the fluorescent light work with the box I have, the HPS is currently installed. I have plant food, vermiculite and perlite. The bottom of the tub is lined with 8 cut open milk jugs as containers. What other lights would I need and what other substrate would i need to grow in? I looked in Lowe's hardware to find a higher wattage hps light but didn't see any, where might I find one of these? What type of ventilation would i need?
I've done guerrilla growing before as well as cultivated fungus, but this seems a little more complicated, i appreciate any help.

hmmmm. you can do well with exactly what you have.
when you get into bigger hps, you get a mogul base that wont fit the socket your 70 fits in, so if you have a 70 THAT WORKS right now, maybe bump it up to a 150 or if you can find one bigger that works with your system then go for it.
how do you fit 4' flouros into a 3.5' box 
and you have another 250w with flouros...
id make it about 4 plants instead of 8 and Screen Of Green them.
keep your flouros on them while theyre vegging nearly touching the tips of the plants(get some chain so you can raise as they grow, then just switch your hps on when youre going to veg and run your hps and flouros on a 12/12 on/off light cycle till they finish.
apply some good nutes.
something even npk while veg, like a 10-10-10. and switch to a bloom booster type for veg.
make sure you dont have junk soil. and load it up with perlite. i dont use verm in mine, but some ppl use everything but the kitchen sink. its all up to you. i always have good resuslt with soil and perlite
