grow room powered by solar power???

hey guys I been doing a some research on solar power systems and got me thinking. In the future I would like to set up a solar power system that would be set up to just power a grow room and flower room and ac... but with hps and mh lights would I be able to put solar panels in the grow room and flower room to recycle the energy that the lights make to make more energy????
im asking this cause im trying to figure out what I would need for solar panels out side to make the orig power, but if I can recycle the light in the grow room and get a good reture rate then i could cut down on cost on how many panels and batteries i would need to buy and cut cost down.
would any body know that if hps or mh light produce the right kind of light that solar power panels would be able to use the light to make power?
oh and i do know that it would cost a good chunk of money up front to build the system but with the numbers i did, i figured out it would pay for its self in between 1.5-2 years in what u would cut off your power bill. But that is also based on with me building the solar panels my self.. not buying premade.. but its not that hard from what i saw on youtube.

Well, the only issue I see with "reclaiming" the light, is that all of the plants are going to be directly under the light. Where the panels would need to be. Maybe the COULD produce SOMETHING. But it's not going to be much.

My point exactly. I doubt it's going to reclaim enough to make the money they would cost worth it.

This^
OP is better off having the panels outside where they get the most intense rays.

yeah it makes more sense to have panels outside, absorbing sun light and have that running into your home to use.
i used to work at a solar panel company that sold by phone, bunch of shady fucks it was.

i guess i should have said it diffently.. i am planning on seting up out side panels like a 20kw a hour system.. but figured that if i put some panels in the grow room to recycle the power that to make it energy go futher..
so that's why i wanted to know if the light hps and mh would work with solar panels so can make what ever energy go as far as possible.

I knew what you said. I was saying it wouldn't be worth the money in panels.

I went to a cabin in the middle of nowhere this summer. They powered the cabin 100% by solar. It had panels on the roof. and at least 12-15 car batteries inside. I was told the key is to have lots of batteries so it can have a huge reserve for cloudy days .
I was super impressed!
