Shit has hit the fan.

Fokin A. Ok so summer has started. My 3 big bubbha blue cheeses that I am growing were just beautiful and healthy. Nice and green with a very skunky smell. Then for a good while later, everything turns to shit. The weather has been shit for about 2 weeks straight. Just straight up rain and gray sky. Okay okay no problem, I'll just wait it out. But no the shit keeps on hitting a fan, it's like some elephant is shitting on one of those heavy duty factory fans. Almost all of my plants are eaten up. They look like they went though some sort of shredder. And i keep on finding small pieces of black on the leaves. This is probably fecal matter drop by the bugs that fucked my plant in the ass. And to top that all off, iv'e been LST ing my plants and three of them snapped. Thats my fault but that is no problem i created clones out of them. But what the fak. Sorry i just had to get some anger off my chest. So now for the question. Since I have been having a shitty experience growing outside. Am I able to set my babies inside and put them under some lights and wait out the shitty weather? And then set them back outside, or will this fuck up the cycle and make them mentally deficient? Thank you for the replies.

Yeah I'd bring them in under lights and get an attach plan together for those bugs.

Could be rats. (not a joke) I've had several plants killed by rats.
Notice the rat traps at the base of the plants

What kind of insecticide are you using, if one at all?
Neem can be used systemically (either by watering with it or repeated foliar feeding) and that way won't be washed off in a rain storm. You'll want to allow a long flush period, though, if you use it.

I used to grow pot. I still do grow pot, but I used to grow it too.

None at all. I do not want to poison the plant. It's very odd, only a couple of my weakest plants were chewed up by these ass hat bugs. But my healthiest beauty remains untouched. I think the bugs went away but i am making a netted house for my plants.

My plants are small. Only about a foot, I will be sure to put some traps when they get much larger because i live right by a forest.

please only put small rat traps and make sure they are at the base of the trunk.. we do not want some harmless critters getting caught up in a bigger or irresponsibly placed trap.

When the plants are young is when they need the most protection.
and yes you can bring the plants in when the weather gets bad then put them out again buuuuut they may experience some shock cause of it.

I've noticed black shit on my leaves at times and I believe it's from grasshoppers. grasshoppers disperse a black goo out of their mouths to help break down the plant matter and digest it easier. I know that's what it is on my plants anywho also I had some serious rat problems at the beginning of my grow. I put up an electric fence and 1/4 in chickin wire (a sort of pot prison ) and put mouse traps all inside there. soon as I put up the chickin wire they had no way to get in do the traps have since been removed and only critters I fret over is grasshoppers and neematoads
