hey guys I think I got a small prob with temps in my flower room.. I got two 1000 hps.. running at 600 right now.. and my room is about 87 degress.. now I have 1 400 cfm inline fan hooked up to each light and a 400cfm phresh carbon filter.. I got two moving fans in the room.. the flower room is 10 feet wide.. 8 feet deep and 8 feet high.. now I just bought a dehumidifier cause of the humidity ..but that guy is throwing out heat.. should I get a ac unit or something??? cause I know I need to get the temps down and right now its not even warm out so who knows how high it can get in the rooms during the middle of summer

Portable ac unit, they tend to dehumidify the room as well.

I would get the AC and see where the humidity is at, then decide if you want to return the dehumidifier if it's still not necessary.
I don't recall the brand mine is, I just bought it from bestbuy at the end of the summer.
Do a search on em, there's reviews all over the place.

well just googled it and it seems that all the the portable ac's are going to cost over a good 200 and after buying that dehumidifier don't really have a few extra hundred to send on a ac on top of that.. but I did find a couple adds for a used ac on craigslist for 50-100 range.. so I will see were that can get me..

oh ok so my grow room is around 87 right now .. so im right at the max point..
well let me get your input on this hawk... in my flower room .. I just have two 400 cfm inline fans.. one each hooked up to 1 1000 watt light ( right now set at 600watt) if i was to get a 700-800 cfm inline fan to blow air into the flower tent cause right now im just using negative pressure to pull in new air into the flower room. would that new inline fan make enoff diff of bring the temp down were i would not need a ac and be able to put my lights at 1000wat

Are you venting the hot exhaust air outside of the space your tent is in? If not then you really need to get that exhaust air vented completely out of the space that your tent is in.

Nah i was set up without a fan but fixed that today and now im runnin a cool high of 97 with a 2' 4 bulb t5.
If i dont break 100 im happy. Thats just how we roll in texas...its like 95 degrees anyways outside.
Of course the plants suffer because of it but i cant start runnin acs where im at and id rather have half of something than all of nothing.
Plus everyone smokes schwag here cuz its 30$ an oz...so as long as im gettin some sensi im fine

Well I'm in the southwest, nothing but desert around me and I don't even make it into the low 90's. that's just really high especially with t5's evenm without a/c on a hot ass daymy t5's don't make it above 87 in my tent.
Maybe your plants have adapted?
I didn't see you can't run ac. Not even a portable one?

Yeah i dont really worry too much about heat. Its only during the peak hours of the day. Ill run night cycles during the day to compensate.
I put a 400w sodium in a 2x2x4 tent today with a pc fan just for laughs...got to like 120 in 10 min so i just turned it off. Lol
Its a weird outdoor grow that i cant go into too much detail, but yeah some plants adapt and take it, a lot just die.
The ones that do grow sorta go slow. Ill try to post pics of a northern lights x big bud ive had running 2 months 70-102.
Took a test nug yesterday and it was good but theyre small plants...nothing crazy at all.
And lately ive been planting shade trees to act as my ac. Just gotta wait for em to grow :/

Its a building that is not insulated but has vents and open windows and the like. It stays cool at night but when the sun hits it it heats up fast. Dont really wanna go into too much detail into it but ambient temps in the room have reached 102 this summer with no lights.
Like i said its really only a problem during peak hours of sun and weve actually been having a cool summer. Theres so much fresh air i consider it an outdoor grow so theres more co2 than indoor but even then its not like that allows em to be super heat tolerant.
I do what i can and they grow...but they could be doin a lot better. But eh whatever im not complainin.
