I was asking about first frost...I imagine late September like JAA said above. KC Brains stuff ought to work; Brains Escape, Mindbender, Leda Una, KC-36...
You mention feminized seeds and I don't know anything about them...though a quick google search shows KC makes at least a couple of those as fems.
You may also want to look into canadian-bred strains from RCMC breeders. www.rcmcollective.ca ; I don't think many of these guys do fem seeds but they are outdoor hardy strains and you won't have to worry about them finishing in time.
Just make sure you get some strains that were bred to be grown outdoors or at the very least have been proven outdoors. A grow log is worth more than a thousand flashy strain descriptions!

If you grow in pots you're going to be watering all the time.

Always safer to start inside if you're able.
