Unknown Problems

OK so part of my first crops are getting brown rust-colored spots randomly all over the fan leaves then the lower older leaves are getting the spots then turning yellow and dying off. I've been feeding it with PHd water and Calmag supplements but they keep dying off, its starting to spread through out the whole plant, any help or ideas whats causing it?

Im using HappyFrog soil the plants are six weeks old and the ph is usually around 6-6.5 I just have the cheap ph indicator solution not the digital tester. And my pics should be in my album just click the symbol below "unrated" under my name on the left side of the posts

Please fill this out.
Soil Growers: 1. Are you growing from seed or clones? 2. How old are your plants? 3. How tall are your plants? 4. What size containers are they planted in? 5. What is your soil mix? 6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use and how much you give per watering? 7. What is the pH of your water? 8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? 9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? 10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") 11. How close are your lights to the plants? 12. What size is your grow space in square feet? 13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? 14. What is the pH of the soil? 15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? 16. How much experience do you have growing?

1. Seeds 2. 6 Weeks and three days old 3. 10 1/2 inches because of LST using rubber twist tie and string taped to the pot.. about 14-16 inches wide 4. In 3 Gallon pot 5. the first two inches is perlite(not sure what kind) then HappyFrog soil fills the rest of the pot 6. Watering about every three days last watering was with cal mag supplement probably a little less than half a gallon just until I get enough run off water to PH test. Three days before that was just 6-6.5 PHd water, three days before that was with nutrients(BioThrive). So in a week it gets one nutrient watering and one plain watering PHd out of a Brita water filter. 7. I just have the PH indicator solution not a digital tester so I get it as close to 6.5 as possible usually between 6-6.5 8. The BioThrive nutrient has a 4-3-3 Ratio of NPK 9. Don't spray the foliage with anything (other than my other plant which has some sort of mold that Im using GreenCure to spary the leaves about twice a week and its not going away, stunting the growth and growing weird skinny crippled-looking leaves) 10. I have 5 42watt CFL for this plant(8ball Kush) and for the moldy one(Northern Light) and for the two seedlings so a total of 210 watts for four plants-two 6 week olds and two seedlings 11. The lights hang about 4inches away from the tops of the plants 12. My grow space is 2x3ft 13. Temperature is 75-78 and Humidity is 32(dry) 14. Not sure of the PH of the soil but was told that it was PH perfect soil 15. I've seen maybe 4 or 5 gnats 16. First grow

I put up some pictures of my Northern Light plant that has had some kind of crippling mold since it was like two weeks old its been stunting its growth, cant rub it off with my fingers more like a deformity than mold with skinny leaves and yellowish looking blisters on the leaves..cant really see to good in the pics cuz of my camera but I've been using GreenCure to spray on the foliage twice a week.. doesn't seem to be helping though, all the new growth coming in is infected with the mold.

I would flush with 6 gallons of pH'd water, and then do one last gallon with 1ml of cal/mag and half dose of your flowering nutrients.
How much of the flowering and cal/mag have you been giving?

It wouldn't hurt to do both plants.
And why are you giving Veg nutes for Flowering? They have different nutrient needs while flowering. this could be a part of your problem, but not the whole problem.

Sorry, for some reason I thought you were in flowering, my bad.
When flushing I would do each gallon over a period of about 15 minutes.
Transplanting usually doesn't hurt when you are seeing issues like these as well.
My guess is that you have been giving them too much in the way of nutrients.

Not as long as you let them dry out before the next watering. I wouldn't recommend it if it was detrimental. And as always, transplanting is always useful in these situations.

http://www.reddit.com/r/microgrowery/comments/19i6io/time_to_chop_auto_northern_lights/ Hey hawksapprentice, any idea what they mean by flushing for two to three days every 8 or 9 days mentioned in this thread?

Nope, but then I wasn't willing to read through all of that to find it. I've never heard of doing that.

oo well it was about halfway down the page the biggest paragraph, but they say that flushing regularly helps get rid of the excess salts and nutrients, should flushing be done only when there is problems with the plant?

Flushing that often is completely unnecessary. Especially if you keep it light on the nutrients.
You shouldn't have to flush more than twice a grow.
