Did you ever buy any LED's? Stay away from the blackstar and other low end lights. Theres a lot of things to consider, but for that size area I'd go with Advanced LED Diamond Series XML. The 150 is $550 and would cover a 3x3 area, the 350 is $1000 and would rock the hell out of the plants in that space. Well worth the investment if you want to get into LED.
I've tried the blackstar and a few other no-name fixtures and they just don't produce the buds like the Advanced fixtures do.
