It's pretty much always been like that Maestro. We just have a more invasive media that you can't get away from, so it seems like it happens more.

Omg I think you're right.. I took a politics class freshman year (2 years ago) and have been following the news much closer ever since. the class was mostly current events and I never really got past the weather when watching the news before unless something big went down lol (exception:daily show+kolbert) so it was a new thing for me I guess..
I guess I was interested cause they make news so interesting 
A lot of people ask me how I survive living in Brooklyn when I go to Ukraine lol. They think its dangerous just walking around the streets. GTA style

So apparently the father of the brothers is telling the younger one to "surrender peacefully and to come home to Russia".
Oh he'll come back to Russia alright....in a body bag.

Friends of the 19 year old suspect are saying he was a big 'pot head'.
Maybe there is a link between cannabis and terrorism.
