 Thinking of moving

Me and my wife have recently been contemplating moving off this rock to maybe Arizona or Nevada. I know a few of you members live out that way and was hoping to get some insight. Looking to find out about jobs, cost of living, rent, areas to move to, etc. We wont be doing this till mid summer after our middle child graduates from high school so we have some time to research the states we're looking at. Also would like insite on any MMJ laws and whatever you can tell me about either of these states.

After living in Arizona, id say Nevada.. Arizona was cool and all but very conservative state

Uh, Nevada is SUPER conservative. ANY amount of weed is a felony and no mmj program.

Well I dont know much about Nevada but I know they usually vote Liberal
I can only speak about Arizona and they are the exact same way, although the felony can be downgraded to a misdomeanor if you complete their probation programs..
Arizona is probably not much different than Nevada other than their are probably less Mexicans.

No, Nevada is a swing state. They go back and forth, by far not liberal voting though.

Hmm....I feel like I saw a recent Cops episode where the officer was saying it was a felony. Must have been older than I thought.

I don't know nearly enough about either state, but I had a friend who visited relatives in Arizona all the time, and would come back with beautiful pictures of the Grand Canyon.

I swear you guys are classic sometimes. The plant producing more thc cause it's dry out fucking classic. Next thc breaks down in light and heat so bud grown in desert climates comes out kind of like the way it does in Mexico. True Mexican Sativas are some of the most potent strains on the planet but since they grow it out in the desert and don't exactly take care of it the way we do you get the crap that comes over the boarder.
Then how exactly does thc protect the plant from heat when the trichs are one of few parts on the plant that contain no moisture.
Most strains come from dry areas like Afghanistan where it's very dry but not exactly the hottest place on earth. They even have quite a bit of snow there. There are very few green plants or plants that the wildlife there can eat so thc is protection from being eaten by animals. THC in no way helps in pollination or reproduction but those parts of the plant are the most covered by trichs cause those parts of the plant are used in reproduction soooooo most trichs show up during flowering which happens in fall when temps are starting to go down.

Arizona.
I was in Las Vegas 3 weeks ago, all the medical weed I picked up was SHIT. I personally think Nevada kinda sucks.

Late vote: ARIZONA!
I left Phoenix almost 2 years ago, and it has been my goal to move back ever since.
Cool people, good weed, now a medical state, and you can get SO MANY places driving just a few hours...California, Mexico, Vegas, TONS of National Parks nearby, skiing up north in Flagstaff, or a quick flight to CO for more serious snow seekers, Sedona, thousands of badass hiking spots, and beginning next January: ME! If you move to AZ you have at least one person who owes you a favor (thanks again for the Kona coffee, it was BOMB!).
One of my friends is also contemplating a move to AZ, and he's been in HI for years.

We are thinking of moving out that way more for a change of pace. Hawaii is a beautiful place but when the economy goes down like it has, its real hard to find work. And cost to live here gets outrageous! My wife is in the medical field so no matter where we go she is pretty set for work. As far as medical marijuana goes, it is least of my worries. Dont get me wrong, I am sure s few medicinal plants sprout up where ever we choose to go. My wife is leaning towards Nevada due to some cheaper rent and I am leaning more towards Arizona since I have always wanted to see the state. We have checked on craigslist mostly for homes and jobs but would like to check out newspapers from areas in both states, mostly to check classifieds.
So basically I am looking for peoples advice who either lived! in one of these 2 states or has lived in them. What towns are nice, cost of living, shopping, schools, job opportunities, and places to rent.
