I have white spots on my leaves. I am a first timer, and inherited 5 plants by default. Someone tole me it was mold. I placed fans on them. seem a little better. I'm only about three-four weeks from cultivation (I think:))

Do you mean from harvest?

Look up white powder mildew that most likely is it.

White spots would also be indication of possible mite infestation.
Check under leaves, look very very closely.. try to spot any singl strand webs or small micro dot mites wandering around.
if so, time to get a fogger, spray, and neem ;P
