clones?
    #658133 - 02/09/13 05:12 AM (11 years, 9 months ago)

Well I want to try and start cloning again. The first time I tried I had to abort the whole grow because I was living in my girls dads house and he said he was going to turn me in so I took no chances.

So here are some pics of potential clones?

Any advice help/tricks would really be appreciated

I'd let that plant get a little bigger before cloning.

When the branches are at least 8-10 inches long IMO.  What way you can cut and still have room for your second cut under water.

Most people don't do that.  But I always do, why risk it.

It's to help prevent embolism.  But think about an aerocloner, they are just hanging in the air with water being sprayed on them.

True but for my spring planting I really need to get this cloning process down because I want to put out a few plant across this hillside and I dont want to keep going up there checking to see if I have any males (dont want paths and all) So In the long run I will only have to check on them and just feed them.

Cloning isn't hard dude.  Cut em, then dip em in whatever rooting cube you prefer, then wait.

QFT

I took clones practically blind (new :0), more than 40, and they all made roots
just fine, though some faster than others.

I did not cut under water, but I did follow all other ideas, I think.
i.e. Clonex, Root Riot tray with peat "cubes", high dome, Liquid Karma.

Good luck OP!

JD

I never use it with clones.  Only with my regular waterings.  Do a google on it man, there's info all over the place on it.
