Lady's and gentlemen

So I'm ten days into my flowering cycle and 4 of my 6 plants officially revealed their sexes. I ended up chopping three males down, as for the fourth, which is my largest and healthiest plant, female for sure she revealed her pretty white hairs on a couple nodes and the cola so despite the males I've had a good day since I've got a nice 2 foot stalk of sensi goin. Just thought I'd share since I'm very excited about my female and this is my first grow after all

The feeling of your first grow is like the first time you had sex. Just stretched out over a few months lol. Cherish it.
Congratulatuons on the lady and welcome to the growery.
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

Thanks for the support, yeah this has all been a very fun and exciting process and no matter wut my yield ends up being ill still be quite happy with the amount of knowledge I've gained from this grow. I've learned sooo much not only from research but just plain experience and I can't wait to use wut I've learned to make each grow better than the last

My buddy actually wants me to save the males in a bag so he can make BHO from wut little THC it might have so I figured he can give it a shot, if I get enough bud ill have him make some from some if that too. I'm honestly not too sure about the strain since the seeds were just randomly given to me for free out of my friends shwag but I'd guess indica at this point if I'm gonna take a shot in the dark, they've all had absolutely no problem growing "like weeds" under the CFLs and I read that sativa tends to have trouble getting energy from CFLs but as a new grower I'm really not sure. I suppose it could always be some kind of cross as well, I'd be more than happy update il when I get a bit more info though, still much to learn and discover

if you save males i would recommend having another well filtered room. that pollen gets everywhere, and your ladies are made to get at it. iv heard of people making tea from the plant, but i never heard of people trying to extract something active form it. might be more work than its worth for stress.
give your stalk a little rub and smell your fingers it'll give you an idea what the aroma will be like

The males we chopped down and separated upon discovery, they're bagged up in a drawer, I'm only saving them cuz my friend wants to try the extraction, I was gonna dump me but if he wants to try he's more than welcome to go through the trouble. The males had quite the aroma after being mutilated, so I've been checking the famale for any scent, thanks for the stalk trick, that'll help.

Congrats on harvesting, I can't wait for mine to be ready, probably another month, possibly less. How's the curing going? I understand that's the most crucial part, fuck that up and ur screwed

I accidentally cut them a little early before they were completely dry, but since they've dried up and started a real cure, that "fresh cut grass" smell is long gone and the skunky/sweet smells are starting to really show themselves.
Brick bagseed or some fluffy un-bricked bag? A month seems like a pretty short flowering period IMO.
Mine flowered for about 8 weeks before the trichomes started to turn cloudy.

I've never seen or heard of any strain maturing in less than 7 weeks of flowering.
