My friend, who is moderately religious, claimed he was having fleeting contact with what he could only describe as the feminine presence of god. He caught a glimpse of this same feeling multiple times, but gave up once he realized the more he chased, the farther away it would get.
I didn't do enough, I just felt my vision layer itself (like eyeballs were coming out of my eyeballs that I could still see out of) and my body was being eaten by the grass underneath me. And then my brother drove up on his dirtbike and scared the living fuck out of me because I couldn't tell if I was hallucinating or not at that stage >:[
