Very simple procedure. Place milk or water jug cap full of salt and moisten until just saturated (no standing water). Place hygrometer and wetted salt into zip lock with small amount of air trapped. It should equilibrate to 75 percent humidity after half a day or so. If your hygrometer levels off at 60% reading, you know to add 15% to all your readings, and so on .....

Unless you spend a lot of money any inexpensive hygrometer is gonna be off unless you get really lucky. We bought 5 or 6 of them and tested them all and returned the worst of them.
So don't waste your time shopping around. Just calibrate what you have.

why do u not go 12-12 from seed?
u will determine sex MUCH faster than 18-6,then u could always put em bak in veg once they have shown ther sex?

It might induce hermy or just stress the plant out. Also some strains (pheno's?) don't come back from flower
