My babies at 35 days

Well, the patience seems to be paying off.
Here are my ladies at 35 days:
These are four Sweet Tooths, and one each of AK-47, Somango, Low Girl, and Biodiesel Mass.
The Ak-47 and the Somango are photo-periods and will be used initially to make clones. (I have a T-8 lit table that will support these clones, and the seeds that I expect to work with next)
I wanted to apply some colloidal silver to a branch or two of one of the autos but I did not act soon enough. I will be doing with with the two photo-period plants. Making seeds is important to me.
BTW: FFOF soil, Botanicaire nutes (only hit %100 at week 5, today), a 4' tent, one HID 600W lamp (MH now, HPS very soon), and two Kessil LED lights (one magenta and the other purple).
Take care,
JD

thanks for the good word.
Mycology taught me patience...that and my son. :0)
BUT this is going to get maddening as the buds swell. LOL, I even have a dozen half-gallon mason jars at the ready, for curing.
I simply refuse to allow my spastocity to affect this effort. I used no nutes for two weeks, and only reached full strength at 5 weeks.
I am the biggest danger to these babies. I know that. :0)
Take care,
JD

P.S. I am reminded of a question that the group photo above made me ponder...
Note that in the group shot that the plants have begun to crowd each other on the sides.
Here's the issue: I could easily raise the lights...say another 1-2 feet. If I did this then the light's coverage will expand and allow me to spread the plants out more, so that their sides are better exposed.
BUT this will lower the light power at each plant, with the light being further away.
What is the sweet spot on this issue?
Any comments appreciated.

Well the best way would be to either have fewer plants, or flower earlier. Obviously neither of these are an option for ya
So I would raise it up a bit, about a foot. You have to keep in mind that light is affected by the inverse square law, which is for every doubling of the distance you get away from the light source, the lumens are decreased by 1/4, but the light is spread out over 4 times the area. So it seems like your losing, but meh, it can be worth it.

Right....there does not appear to be a clear answer.
When I think about the light hitting more of the plants, then this might tend to nudge me toward trying it.
Take care, and thanks for the time,
JD
