hey I was looking on line and saw that there are different types of reflectors for the lights. Some that I saw are air cool and some are not. There was one called cool tube style??? and I saw some that looked like half circles and some that look like little domes now what would be the best to go with for best reflection I would guess that getting one that allow all flow to help keep it cooler would be a something I should be looking at right?

You should definitely be looking at air cooled hoods.
The style you pick, is going to depend on the space your growing in.
So give us some more info and we can point you in the right direction.

Depends on how much you wanna grow. Are you planning on filling that entire area?

nah don't need that much. I was thinking in the range of 10-15 plants at the max for growin..don't want some crazy ass power bill

Okay, the way your talking, I don't think you've done much research yet. 10-15 plants could fill that room. Everything depends on how you're growing.
10-15 plants, unless you keep them crazy small, are going to need at least 4-6 1000 watt lights.

ok well say I go with a dozen plants to keep it simple.. Now if I use that 4 1000w lights what kinda of yield would that put out around? just so I have Idea of how big we are talking about so then I can figure out how big I want to go

Lots of variables man. Depends on strain, your experience, how much you pay attention to your plants.
Average should be around a pound per light. But don't expect to hit that right off the bat.
I would recommend getting one light. Do a grow, and expand after each grow. That way your gaining experience, and not putting a crapload of money up front with a chance of failure and wasting a bunch of money

so if I went with 12 plants and wanted to get 3 pounds so about 4oz a plant ..is that doable? or is that pushing the limits? now if I used a grow tent would that help in any way .. would that allow me to cut down on the amount of lights I would need or lower wattage ??

Okay, well that it possible. You're going to need at least 3000 watts of light though.
Like I said, start small bro. Buy 1 1000 watt light. If you have issues, it wont be on such a large scale, with so much more to lose.

Again, there's a lot of variables here. Different strains have different yields.

ok I had a nother question Grow tent vs a grow room
-would the tent be easier to control smell and heat? -would i need less light in a tent then a room sense the tent is smaller and is covered will reflective material?

with hawks blessing i would suggest the idea that grow rooms and tents are basicly the same thing, just everything is on a larger scale, including problems, and costs, all depending on size of course, but most things are reasonably the same, like instead of a clip fan for a tent you would use a couple of full size pedestal fans for circulation, lots more ducting for air extraction etc. its all about how much you wanna spend and what sort of quality you are searching for

mylar or similar material for reflective surfaces and basicly more product equals more smell, a tent is quicker and requires less work and to some extent less light if thats what your interested in, if your really worried about smell tap your drain pipe system and run ducting into it so it gets sent through the sewers and such, never done it but im sure hawk might have a bit of info on how its done, tents equal easy but restrict room usually, grow rooms can be much larger and have larger yields
