Ok guys I got two questions, How would I figure out how much room I would need for a each plant I want to grow? and how much watts do I need per a plant to get enoff lums? to get a solid grow?

I am just getting started with a 4'X4' tent and so will let the TCs respond more fully.
Good luck,

dude im not trying to sound like a jerk but why did you even bother posting, that was of no help at all cause what size grow tent u are using does not answer my questions... it looks like u just trying to rack up a higher post count???

what size container do you plan on using, how much room do you have to work with, what type of lighting setup would you like to use, what type of growing method are you using (hydro or soil), how many plants do you want to run, what type of plant are you wanting to run (sativa, indica, hybrid), how much money do you have to work with.....
Just so many unanswered questions before we can even begin to think of suggesting what type of flowering room you might be best with. As for light, well, that one is easy to answer. You want to shoot for 50 watts per square foot, but do not want to dip below 30 watts per square foot.
take the wattage of the ballast you want, stick it over the square footage of the room, and you have watts per sq foot.
So if you wanted to use a 1000 watt light light, and you were thinking of a 4x4 grow area, you would calculate 1000 / (4*4) = 62.5 watts per sq ft.

Well Badagger, I'm not trying to sound like a jerk either, but I just did a search of your main threads, and it appears that you're just shooting questions from the hip without taking any time to do research of your own. Look at the articles on the main site, use the search function, the questions your asking have been asked and answered many times on the site.

Also, just so you get a general rule of thumb answer to your question, you should shoot for 50 watts of lighting per square foot of grow space. How much room per plant is dependent on whether you're going to be practicing LST, ScrOG, topping, FIMing, or other training methods. Its also dependent on what strain you're growing, how long you're vegging, and how long you're flowering. So I guess a quick answer to that question is:

well that's the stuff im trying to figure out, cause I have a room that im going to remodel to do it in, so once I got the mesurments then I figured it out if I had an average number to play with like for example if it a plant needed a 4x4 area for a full grow then I could figure out whats the biggest size tent I could use and how many I could plants I could go with in the grow room.
Then if a planted need 25,000 lums on avarge then if the tent could say hold 10 plants then I would know I need a min of 250,000 lums..
sorry if I came across as a asshole I was not trying to I was just looking for numbers to go by so I can start figuring out the basics of what I would need.
Again, use the main site for these general questions. This is not to put you off, but because there are so many variables that we can't decide for you. Do a couple days worth of reading and post questions about the specific things you don't understand.
