I read the "Controlling temperature. What am I doing wrong?" thread, but did not find what I am looking for...
I have a 4' X 4' Growlab tent with a ducted 600W lamp (MH conversion bulb).
I am running it empty while I wait for supplies to arrive.
I am finding that the temp is getting over 85F. (today's ambient high was 75F).
What I am wondering is whether I will need to increase the air flowing *into* the tent. The output is significant, and is directed toward a pushing (outward) window fan that I use to keep my room cool in general.
The only thing that I have done to get fresh air into the tent is to open the small rectangular holes along the bottom of three of the sides of the tent.
Should this be enough?
I *really* do not want to add the expense of running an AC to the mix, but will if I have to.
I am leaving it on continuously, to learn the temp profile.
This all being said, I just realized the my probe was 6 inches from the top of the tent. I pushed more probe cord through so that the probe is 2' off the floor.
My gauge is now saying 80F.
Sheesh
I promise that my future threads will be better. :0)
