cutting and hanging plants to dry from root ball.

So, there are two ways i may dry my plants. One is to cut it at the roots like a tree then hang the whole plant upside down to dry. The other is cutting branches and hanging individually to dry.. I am leaning toward the first option due to the bud being able to feed off the whole stem (which i heard adds to quality) vs just a cutting.

i always cut branches, trim, then hang. don't believe that hanging the entire plant adds to anything. except drying time.

Cut off each branch, trim, dry. WAY easier than trimming while drying.
