bud booster hormones HARM UR HEALTH
    #631538 - 07/13/12 01:26 AM (12 years, 4 months ago)

If ur bloom boosters include certain plant hormones (i dont think they disclose that stuff even?) u could be putting urself at risk. they have shown to cause cancer and other health problems in mice.

yes it is very serious and i am very surprised about this myself, but with a minor in bio it is not surprising the interconnection between kingdoms. here is an article for a quick look http://www.marijuana...ison-marijuana/ PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO ASWELL and like i said alot dont have to list alot of products in there mix because of whatever regulations. http://en.wikipedia..../Phytoestrogens http://www.cdpr.ca.g...cd/paclobut.pdf anyone who uses should be aware and actually do alot of research and not just assume they are OK. esp for medical patients with immune issues and or cancer/liver function problems. There is other plant hormone bud boosters that have been tested in rats that have had an increase in cancer, will try and take some time to find it.

stay healthy u guys, labels lie!

ps ur right i should have had a few articles, but didnt have the time and thought it was very important for people to know ASAP!!!

None of those links work for me.
Is this about the gravity, bushmaster, etc... or something new?

Ugh....I hate it when shit like this comes up.  When they do these lab tests on mice, they give them HUGE doses of this type of stuff.

You need to actually read the studies and see what kind of doses they are giving them.  And THEN think about how the plant actually metabolizes these substances, which we give in very small quantities, and if they are present in the end result.

Eating compost straight out of your compost bin can give you seizures/tremors, but that doesn't mean that it's bad to make compost tea for your plant.

That being said, the only flowering boosts I use are guano/earthworm casting teas and PK boosters.

maybe if you personally consume those chemicals, then yea i wouldnt be surprised if health problems arise. but if you give this stuff to your plant, your plant absorbs it and metabolizes it into new chemicals. so i dont see how there is a correlation between mice getting a chemical and you feeding your plants with it. not the same thing.

waking up and being ME is putting myself at risk everyday, and one day, i'm going to die. if using big bud enhancers kill me, at least i go out with fatty nugs.

if u read www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/risk/rcd/paclobut.pdf+http://www.cdpr.ca.g...cd/paclobut.pdf&hl=en&gl=ca&pid=bl&srcid=ADGEESggc_RBuG1KigT3bBFxmFcH1Uh7OX2yVbRCcPwhJvLmztKFaA1973uVmRNM28i0YbKb2zhl0OvHzs9nLZ2L9qfBoOMM_IaQnAsNexoFIcUd8IfQxmlpg_SBwOYgUqO-Pwb3nXno&sig=AHIEtbR1OnaSUcosBGgk38kMkaVOSKF9Vw " target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener">https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:dZHxQztfnbYJ:www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/risk/rcd/paclobut.pdf+http://www.cdpr.ca.g...cd/paclobut.pdf&hl=en&gl=ca&pid=bl&srcid=ADGEESggc_RBuG1KigT3bBFxmFcH1Uh7OX2yVbRCcPwhJvLmztKFaA1973uVmRNM28i0YbKb2zhl0OvHzs9nLZ2L9qfBoOMM_IaQnAsNexoFIcUd8IfQxmlpg_SBwOYgUqO-Pwb3nXno&sig=AHIEtbR1OnaSUcosBGgk38kMkaVOSKF9Vw ; it actually talks about levels and yes all things are toxic in high enough amounts but there is a reason it is not used in commericial applications but ornementals and many of these products have made there way into hydro shit. for medical patients this could be a real issue

Deep thoughts here.. What if those types of fertilizers help produce cannabinoids that prevent, and fight cancer??Kinda the way a vaccine is made..I blame Pilze for putting the thought in my head..There really needs to be alot more scientific studies done on this wonderful plant..

ya higher phyto estrogens and shit from those boosters is likely why they found hormone changes occur in people who smoke mj

But have growers really been using em for the long?  I feel these are really becoming popular with our market as of recent.

The alleged chemical of concern in Bushmaster is a fungicide that has been around since the 70's, I believe (might even be the 50's.

alot of weed is grown commercially by farmers who have the stuff.. hormone use in agriculture has been done since 1930s.  food for thought anyway. if u every grow oranically in soil or use those flower boosters starters at start of flower u will see how greatly it changes flower times.
