Powdery Mildew seems like a bitch. A friend of mine got it on his medical grow during the first week of flowering. He spayed neem oil and it all seem to go away and the plants turn from nasty yellow back to green again and all was fine. He goes to harvest them and he noticed "after taken out of the HPS room", that mildew was still on the buds. Now i've read that once you get it, it sticks on the bud, even if you spray it, come harvest you'll see this. Is that true? Wondering if everything on there is just dead leftover, not still growing (since the plants looked very healthy)
Another thing. Health hazards, is there any? I know it's bad if your allergic and have horrible immune system deficiency, but how about the regular guy? Is this really toxic to the common person. PM grows on a lot of stuff in nature, we breathe / eat the stuff all the time (in small amounts) so would it really be bad on bud?
Yea, sulfur burner is the obvious fix. But what about the health concerns, can you smoke bud if some fan leaves had a bit of mildew? What about outdoor grown, most can have a tiny amount in it.
I know you can butane it and have some fun with oil. But i'm talking about straight bud.
People work in green houses with ton of this shit. But I can't find anything that says it'll kill you, just a bunch of people freaking out "dont smoke if it ever had mildew on it".
i wouldnt reccomend smoking moldy bud, but more likely then not you'll be fine, and hell u may get a lil higher.Chronic is basically moldy bud. I'd smoke it out of a bong though.
