When I used to simply grow normal vegetables and herbs indoors I would always collect rain water because I believed it was superb! gods creation! I am a legal authorized patient and the other day we got a large downfall! I collected 5 gallons of rain water easily from a runoff gutter! The only thing that seems to be in the water is maybe a little bird shit which is good! I tested the PH in the large bucket and it bounced between 6-7, today I took a small sample and it was 8! I am guessing that is because it was a smaller concentration of H+ ions in the smaller sample! ( I now understand that is completely wrong and both samples should have read the same, error most have been in the instrument)
I read that rain water lacks calcium and magnesium. Well I have brioschi antacid from NY not many people no about it.. and it is calcium carbonate, would adding a simple stick of this fortify the calcium deficiency or just a completely retarded idea to add, or just use the water as is.
