 Lack of Appetite linked to marijuana?

Well as the title says, I am wondering if smoking weed may decrease the appetite of somebody on a long term length, I have been smoking weed for at least 7 - 8 years, I am not talking about the munchies, I still be these, but when I am sober, I have no appetite at all, I even feel sick if I force myself to eat (well not really sick but its like eating when you are full, its just not a good feeling ...).
I have heard about a cannabinoid that could be found in weed that decrease appetite, but I read that on a forum while trying to find any scientific studies that were giving answers to my question. I was just wondering if it was happening to anyone else, I am pretty sure if I stopped smoking weed for a bit it would all go back to normal but fuck it, weed is way too awesome, I everyday ...
I also found out a shitload of websites saying that weed does decrease the appetite, but none of them were able to tell me why, does anyone know why it does that, and is there any ways to stop this shit?

IMO chronic use of cannabis will cause your hunger, bowel, and sleep mechanisms to be ruled by the chemicals contained within the plant.

Weed doesn't really effect my eating habits. It does make food taste more awesome, though.

Herb always stunts my appetite, but only if I smoke a lot everyday.

I know what you mean, it's especially apparent when you have a condition like IBD that smoking helps with. But when you are high, which is most of the time, you eat a lot and are always pretty hungry. But when you are sober or haven't smoked within the last hour or so, you don't really get hungry. Smoking gets you in the mood to eat. It can be beaten though, just try not to think about it too much and also when you just do it enough and it will feel normal again. But why would you ever stop smoking? No reason, man.

^this explains simply what the problem is. the human body is amazing at detecting changes and adapting to them, when we are young we learn to eat when we are hungry but as I'm sure you've noticed that changes during school/work forcing us to eat at certain times and in the same sense you can decrease your urge to eat via training, diets etc.
Your body has learnt to feel hungry when you're high, if you exercise or something that normally makes you hungry the appetite will come back.
Try setting a time each day that you eat whether high or not, that may help if not does it really matter, you'll survive a week without food, try salts and vitamins to keep feeling healthy and the worse that will happen is some weight-loss
There's no reason to stop smoking unless it's really worrying you

When Im high I have no appetite, sober I eat like a pig. All I want when I am stoned is a slushie...

Normally I do a smoothie with sunwarrior protein, ice, soy milk, hemp seeds, raw cocoa powder, and frozen mixed berries.

Well when you smoke all the time you make it a habit, and when you don't smoke you don't have the weed to stimulate your appetite. I have the same problem
