this looks like leaf burn, but the cfl bulbs havent been less than 2"/3" away from the leaves at all times.
can someone help?
the burn on the leaf under the bud point happened 2 or 3 days ago, I just let it go, then the leaf on the top happened yesterday at some point.

i'd say it's burn and it happened when the leave pointed up trying to reach the light..in the pic they're laying flat , but usually a healthy plant will point its leaves up..if it's 2-3 inches away flat it might touch when they point up..Just my thoughts.

Looks like it got burnt to me as well. Could the leaves have gotten wet?

I'm very interested what will come out with this thread.
I personally believe your friend is right with the nute burn thing (you mentioned in another thread) because those leaves are well grown and look very dark green.

For the record, CFL's have burned plants IME. I've got burn spots on my khat pants as I type.

Sure CFL's can get hot enough to burn your plants.

Yes, I underestimated the power of my cfls, and the heat they put off. I mean its lightyears away from how hot a MH or HPS get, but still, gotta be cautious.
