pipe cleaning

I need a few suggestions on how to clean this pipe, it is getting pretty nasty in the bubbler part - where the water goes.
There is a glass stem inside of the bubbler chamber that goes up to the bowl, making it hard to clean bubbler out.
How would you clean it?

one of those fuzzy little pipe cleaners. ...maybe. just shove it through the carb and try your best to scrape out whatever you think is best.
though your carb looks alot smaller than the one on my bubbler. so maybe something else that will fit into it would work. or just say fuck it and toss the whole pipe into some boiling water

I don't think it is possible at all the clean it through the carb the hole is way too small, and too high up.
I think I read somewhere about putting white rice in your bowl with rubbing alcohol, shaking it up and all the stuff comes out. I think that was the recipe, can't remember.

hmm. i don't think i've heard the 'white rice' method. but who knows, maybe it does work. i never clean my pipes anyways, unless i'm out of weed and craving resin.

get it with a solvent I would try and get some high proof alcohol like everclear but I have heard of people using isopropyl alcohol as well. soak it for a while and then run it under hot water.

I'll try sea salt and rubbing alcohol, or sea salt water cause I just saw that that works good too.
I think mold might have gotten in my bubbler, that's fuckin nasty.

iso and salt work GREAT, it makes them like new. the iso stops the salt from dissolving and will act as an abrasive for knocking the stuck on resin off.
Only problem with this method is the tar you get needs to be thrown away.
Tar is nasty.

no do not use water! Salt disolves in water. Rendering the addition of the salt USELESS.

Yup- ISO/Kosher salt is the only way to go.. i use a Quart-sized freezer bag, zippy, and put the piece inside...add enough ISO( 90%, 1.00 at Walgreens), to cover piece, throw in some salt,..I squeeze the air out so that the entire piece is covered, using as just enough ISO to cover... Shake it up, let sit overnight, Shake....Rinse w/ hot water.. Works like a charm.. Peace

Letting it sit overnight is probably not needed, at least it wasn't for me.
I put the juice in the piece and covered the holes while shaking. Then rinsed the nasties out with with warm water. Repeat 3 times doing this.
Tt looks brand new and tastes a lot better now when I smoke out of it.
