 Cleaning glass

I picked up some new glass about a year ago and have been using specific pipes for specific purposes.
The small wizard spoon is strictly used for hash, the medium piece for herbs and hash, and lastly the xl piece is used for strictly herb. As you can imagine after a year of daily use these pipes have rightfully gathered up a significant amount of resin.
Well my friends today is the day. I am cleaning out each one of these pieces using 98% alcohol, epsom salt, hot water, an extended bobby pin, and determination.
The wizard spoon (hash pipe) is the main piece I intend on cleaning as this has been the most used throughout the year.
What I do is I fill up the piece with a small amount of epsom salt and alcohol, enough to shake the salt/alcohol around, tape up all open ends, then shake the piece with a good amount of force and discard the gunk. I then fill it up with a small amount of alcohol and start picking at the heavy walls of resin. I do all of this until the pipe is clean.
There's stuff you can buy out there that does the work for you or easier ways like letting the alcohol soak into the glass for an hour but I find the method I use to be the most satisfying

I usually heat up the alcohol with a double boiler. And I also use pipe cleaners for those stubborn resin clunks.
The stuff the sell on the market is basically alcohol.

Basically I just heat up the alcohol until hot. Then pour it into my piece with salt. Shake violently. Then rinse out with hot water. Repeat as necessary. The pipe cleaners work pretty well. They get big chunks pretty easily. And they clean the neck of my pipes pretty well.

I should pick some up. That's the part I'm having trouble with, the neck. Since I only smoke hash out of the piece, theres a ton of hash chunks/resin just globbed up in there.

And now after a tedious morning of cleaning ONE pipe, the best part of the process is now at hand. I will now smoke some full melt off the wizard spoon!

I bought a new one every time mine got dirty.
I would sell the old one for 3/4 of the cost of the new one.

cup of alcohol in the microwave for about 20 seconds will clean stuff pretty well.

Interesting, I might have to try some warm alcohol soon.
I still have two pipes that need to be cleaned but I happened to get into Breaking Bad yesterday and goddman. I just wanna watch that shit.

Throw your pipe in your kiln. My glassblowing teacher would smoke through a high-end expensive pipe and then kiln it and resell it for more than he bought it for.
