Yeah, Harden's been sucking during these finals so far. They're gonna need him to bring his A game the next time around or they're done for.

I think Harden is just thinking to much, in the San Antonio series he was just hitting every shot without thinking about it...
The real Thunder better show up soon or we wont have a game 6

Whelp, NBA finals are over in 5 games.
OKC is just too young and make too many mistakes under pressure.
Caps off to Miami and LeBron James for playing well, but I think they would have had their hands full if they had to play San Antonio.
OKC's defense has been awful. This whole series they have given up soooo many open 3's. Ive never seen such horrible defense in the NBA playoffs.

I don't know why they didn't use a zone defense more. It was basically Dallas' ace in the hole against Miami last year.

They are just playing awful defense all around. Too many wide open 3's that any professional can make

Playing a zone would make everything so much easier for them. Rotating and switching against the Heat's offense would be a breeze. Miami consistently looks for backdoor cuts and quick re-posts by swinging the ball. A zone defense pretty much negates those plays. Run a 2-3 every time you need to trap in the post and a 3-2 to thwart pick and rolls.

The Spurs would have at least made a game 7 of the series..
fuck it hats off to Lebron, he pulled a triple double in game 5 and sealed the victory

Shoulda, coulda, woulda's...I would think that the coach of the Thunder probably knows more about what would and wouldn't work against the Heat offense as far as zone defenses and whatnot than a bunch of dudes on a drug website. (i.e.- US)
I mean seriously, I don't really know much about zone and man in basketball. I know what it means in Football, so I'm guessing it's somewhat the same, kinda anyway, in basketball, but don't you think if it would've worked, he would've done it? And if he did use it, which I don't even know if he did, cuz I pretty much just watch the game and ain't into it like Football and Baseball as far as the technical aspects of it, if it worked well, he would've kept using it? They know a lot more about that kind of shit than we all do, especially me, I'll admit, but ya'll too.
And anybody who wants to hate on LeBron for choking or whatever is just a miserable fuck who has nothing better to do in their lives. That dude fucking KILLED IT throughout the whole playoffs basically. I think he averaged like 30 points, 8 rebounds and like 5 assists throughout the whole playoffs. I'm sure those aren't the exact numbers, but I know they're close. What did surprise me though, was that his only triple double was in the clinching game, but yeah, to the haters, go find something else to be miserable about, that dude is one of the best basketball players to ever step on a court and when his career is over with, his stats are gonna back it up, I guarantee it.

Lebron definitely came up big in this series. Miami also played with more discipline on the offensive end. They were patient. Lebron and Wade both had Finals experience and it showed. They really managed to turn it around after game 1. I was impressed.
On the other hand, Skiles did use a zone defense at times and it seemed to work well. I'm not trying to act like some Monday morning quarterback, though. I'm sure Skiles and the whole Thunder staff are reviewing tape right now and noticing way more things than I will ever pick up on.
