it would be interesting to see how their corn and onion performed for them. Most instances it seems people focus on leafy vegetables and herbs, like lettuce and basil

Yeah I know what you mean. I wish more people would include some results to these videos. I've seen some great things done with strawberries and grapes using pondponics, which isn't much different than aquaponics.
Just found this video with some great insight into the growing and maintenance of aquaponics and marijuana.

if you look on that page it has tutorials for the program and a few entries that attempt to explain the mixing and formulation process

it was hard to tell, because the writing was blurry, but it seems they injected a nutrient solution either at the root zone, or directly into the plant.
Which seems to confirm my earlier suspicions. And, honestly, if it came to that, i would rather stick to a simpler, and more traditional, set-up

Throwing coffee in the reservoir? Le Durrrr.....
And yes there is a very easy way; grow in soil. Boom, no need for nutrients if the soil is good and the container is large enough. You'll short yourself on yield a bit by not feeding but it'll work.
Or, google compost tea.

I actually know a few CP growers who use cold coffee to water their plants, since they are traditionally quite touchy to any form of fertilizing that involves the roots.
They also claim great results

Worm casings and Bat guano are a good way to go. But it doesn't contain everything. Hence why you need to do some compost tea as well. But it will get you there.

i say it like that to be simple theres so much more that go into the actual grow but to get my point across of haveing all of the nutes to get 200% quality

Here's my question; If you're planning on buying guano, why not just buy nutrients?

sticking it to the man, man
nah its more of i want to do it all, plus id go on a search for easier obtainable stoof in place of the guano
my last question was just to insure that its a complete mix of goodies for my plants
the next question is how do i make nutes from all this just toss in water resivoir or do i need toboil and extract it (the tea is mostlikley just added seeing its in liquid conc.) but the poopoo and casings would get everything messy

You need to do a lot of research here man. You make teas out of all these things. Do some research on tea making and then continue to think about what you do with them. Of course your not just going to throw them in the reservoir.
