You do not use nutes in a cloner. Your wanting the clone to grow roots 1st. Then eat.

Don't know. Never tried it. Maybe someone with more experience will come along. Don't know if the clone would get screwed up by not knowing to make roots or eat. Might just take it longer to grow roots.

Think of clones like you would a seedling. Tirst built root then start feeding low and slowly raise the ppms to the preferred level.Quote: chris606 said: this is my firs in door grow and what nutrients is the bested for this set up http://www.growery.org/3037/Make-your-own-Aeroponic-Cloner All I can say is be prepared to clean tips every day or so, they clug up regularly when running nutes thru them. But to answer your question pretty much any hydro nutes would work fine.
