Reading the back.... let me see if I've got this right.
You're supposed to use equal parts of A and B no matter WHAT part of the grow you're in? Veg, Flower, early flower, late flower.... it doesn't matter?
How the fuck is that supposed to be the "best" nutrient out there? It's a pretty common knowledge fact that plants have different nutritional requirements for foliage growth vs reproductive growth. Even early stage flowering needs different nutrients since in the natural order of things, soil depletion follows a fairly predictable path every summer.
Maybe I'm missing out on something. Am I supposed to veg with something else and then just flower with conni? I'm fucking lost on how this product is supposed to be worth a damn.

From what I've read on it, Connoisseur is a bloom feed, and I think AN wants you to use boosters and other additives to address the changes in the plants needs thru out the bloom phase.
I could be wrong tho, I've never used the stuff.

Yeah, after some research it appears you're correct. Conni is just the base bloom nute, and you use big bud and overdrive and blah blah blah to alter the NPK and trace levels accordingly.
And for veg you do whatever the fuck you want.
Meh, I guess I'll try it

I just wanted to bump this again because it irks me that AN thinks the bloom stage is the only important part of growing. The fact that they come out with this incredibly expensive nutrient for bloom that's supposed to be the best thing to happen to horticulture since aqueducts, and have NOTHING for veg except a standard nutrient is hilarious to me. I don't really have a point here, I just think it's funny. The veg stage is just as important, if your plant isn't happy and well fed when you flip that light to 12/12 then you might as well not even bother growing.

could easily be a marketing decision: they figure they won't have a demand for a similar priced product geared towards vegging.
But given the amount of snake oil like products available in any hydro store, it might not be the most likely explanation

Most grow logs I see using that bloom formula, use Sensi A and B Grow.
I think if I were to consider using such a high priced nute, I'd use House and Gardens line up.
But until someone can prove I'd grain a lot, I'll probability stick to General Hydroponics.

Yeah it'd be house and garden for me too. I do use their root excellerator, amazing stuff. But There's no way the main nutrient solution works so much better that it's worth the money.

AN has good products then they have their scammers. I consider Connoisseur a scammer. People read the lable at the store and think they are walking out with something that is gonna boost their yields. Then they get it home and do a little research and then find out AN says Connoisseur will get you good results buuuuuuuut if you want better results get this also. Then for even better results add this and this and this and this and this and this and this and this.............

I was interested in Humbolt's Nutes until i did some reading and holy shit.... People think advanced has a lot of additives. they don't even compare. A local grower in my area that uses 16 or so different bottles through out veg & flower. He does have crankin yeilds tho.
