 how do YOU personally smoke

I have a friend who coughs so bad every time he smokes that he almost pukes. I recently told him to not only inhale with his mouth, but to breathe in with his nose too so he gets some air with his smoke.
its worked wonders for him and he can't figure out why nobody else suggested that. do you guys smoke like that? I always have, I thought everyone did.

I have a friend that does the same, he actually pukes, no matter if its regs or headies lol
I take big ass grav rips and blow smoke clouds and laugh at him without a single choke up :P
Of course I have been a blunt/bong smoker for years..about 8 years now, on average 5 blunts a day. and i smoke cigs.

The more the more time passes the better smoker you become, we all have our own little tricks and skills.
If I need to I can breathe in through my nose or mouth after I've inhaled the smoke. But my lungs are pretty good, and I don't really need to but during the pull I try to focus on getting a nice, good paced burn that fills my big bong with a light smoke/vapor from my glass wand. I inhale as much as I can, if it's not completely clear I can cover my the bong and inhale the rest of the hit at my leisure. It's a big bong so it fills up with a couple hits or so. also since I use my wand I can take a second hit since the weed isn't 100% burned yet with either a lighter or the wand again.

I generally only take the tiniest snaps anyway (like 5 calyxes wadded up into a bowl). Just enough to fill the tube once, but fill it good and thick. But when its full, as I'm clearing it, I always breathe through both my nose and my mouth.
It stopped me from coughing when I was like 15 and I always did it since.

I pretty much french inhale 100% of my hits. At first I just liked it more when it came to smoking rillo's. Now it's just second nature to pass the hit from my mouth to my nose and inhale it.
Man i wish i had weed. 
I'm getting an 8th to split with my parentals though next weekend when i go back to town so it should be pretty nice. I got some pieces for them, but we will probably smoke nothing but joints since my mom can't pull a hit from a pipe really. Maybe me getting her a chillum with help fix that though.
.... On second note I don't french inhale from bongs. That's something I don't think I've ever done.

I have asthma, a bong CAN make me cough as fuck and puke, but it can also not.
I don't think I really ever tried inhaling oxygen with my nose, I think I do it unintentionally, I'll have to notice it!
Depends on the weed also, some weed is quite dry as fuck and will make me cough on every puffs ...
Edit: Since I have asthma, I prefer joints to bongs, or pipes to bongs also, but a bong from time to time never hurt!

Ya I french inhale all papers. It just makes that added harshness disappear into smooth as fuck hits.
I do the same with cigarettes, which I only smoke when I'm drunk. I didn't realize it until someone called me out on it lol.

slow, medium hits out of a bong. with a downstem i pull it out, and put it back it repeatedly to take many nice hits mixed with oxygen.
Joints, pipes, blunts, etc... i get a full mouthful and inhale.

I have two different bowls for my bong, one with a screen in it for long, smooth hits that I bearly have to pull, and one for snapping which I could cram a good gram into should I choose.
With breathing, I couldnt snap my bowls untill I kind of figured how to break through that wall in my mind that my lungs were only so big, once I was able to get my diaphragm into the equation, taking much, much larger hits was no problem.

french inhale burns my nose every time, so i don't do it.
I just smoke my cigarillos or blunt wraps or take bong rips.
I also have 3 glass spoons that get used occasionally to smoke a bowl or roaches out of

Man I'm glad you posted this cause I cough like a bitch every so often, except when french rolling with papers. And I've never threw up more than I could just swallow back down.

I don't smoke blunts...mostly bowl and bong ....Hemp papers if anything though
