Cooking this sitation... mid grades (decarboxylated )

hello all.
I was looking for some guidance on the best route to go giving my circumstances.
I am looking to make some baked goods that I can keep in the fridge/ freezer for convenient use.
I have 14 grams of some OK mid grades, nothing special. Looking to get the most from what I have (who isn't)
This is what I was thinking. I would grind up the 14g and I could simmer in maybe coconut oil and strain. But at what temp and for how long? How much oil for that amount of pot?
Would this amount be overkill for say one batch of brownies?

Use the decarboxylation tutorial in "Paleo's potent decarboxylated cannabis oil". Literally the thread below this one.
Prebake the cannabis in a mason jar or covered plate at 250F for 30 minutes OR 220F for 2 hours before you add it to the coconut oil. The amount of oil to pot is always this - just enough oil to completely submerge the crumbled and decarboxylated cannabis.
Hope this helps.

Hey thanks. That's a great start! I understand .5g of dank is enough to get off, would it be double that approx for mediocre mids?

Yes indeed. One gram of properly decarbed (read: my and some other users on Grasscity) marijuana, well fried into an oil and eaten with a meal is enough for a dose.
Have fun!!!!

So heres the deal. I did exactly as you did in your thread. Only difference was I used coconut oil so I had to tweak the frying part as to not catch fire.
I used 10 grams of some mid grades placed in a jar, which was then placed in an oven set to 325 for 25 minutes. I removed from oven and placed in sauce pan with liquid coconut oil, and fried on medium - medium high for 5 minutes. I strained the liquid and material through cheese cloth.
I added the oil to make a batch of brownies which was cut into 16 pieces.
I ingested one brownie at approx 1:20pm and it is now 2:22pm and I can safely say I am well and toasty. That means each piece, assumed cut equally contains roughly .625 grams and I am stoned.
Yes this method works just fine

Cool that it worked for you. 325 for 25 minutes is a high temp and a short time that you can confirm works well enough.
