400W soil grow (chronic, bublegum & sensi star)

Greetings, this is my first grow journal here, not my first grow. Last time i had a 400W (super lemon haze) closet grow, that i had to bail so i started a grow room with only 1 400W light where i will flower 9 seeds (3 Serious seeds chronic, 3 Bubblegums and 3 paradise seeds sensi star)
I know it`s not ideal to grow 3 strains under one light, but this is how i found the seeds.
I aircool my light with the extractor fan and will add inline lights later on. this is my setup :
and those are the plants at 14 days:
the three from the right are bubblegums the three in the middle are sensi stars the four in the left (back) are the chronics ( i am going to keep one as a mother) and the one in the round pot is a pineaple chunk that is slightly younger
i will use biobizz bio grow for veg canna bio flores for flower with carbo load, nirvana and hammerhead from advanced nutrients

i have a quick question, those are the plants 16 days old from seed :
I transplanted them in 11L pots (one in 18L as an experiment) and I`m aiming for a maximum of 50g/plant. How long should i keep them in veg?
they are currently at 18/6 hours of light

I would guess 3-4 weeks if everything is going well... I grow hydro though so my stuff grows a lot faster. I veg mine for 30 days then they have been ending up too big when they get a few weeks into flower. I use a 400W light also and it doesn't cover all that much space... The time for veg is really strain dependent though. i have a berry bomb plant that has been in veg for like 2 month under a 90w ufo and its still like 9 " tall. yet I have another thats like 1 1/2 ft for the same time frame.

i realy hope it won`t take that long, i want to start flowering when they are like 30 cm (1ft) without topping or anything else. where i live weed is very expensive so i`m in a big hurry with this grow....
can any of you tell me how big should a plant be to get aprox 50g/plant, i have 9 plants under a 400W and i`m aiming for 1g/w so 9*50 would be 450. on my first grow i grew 6 white berry (paradise seeds) clones under a 250W and got between 15-60g/plant (the space was tight and the plants had big variations) i got there 0.8g/w and i started flowering (the clones) at 30cm in 6.5L pots.
White berry is a very high yielding strain similar in growth to Chronic, so i guess i would have to get those plants a litle bit bigger than 30cm.
Anyways the ideea is that i want minimal veg time.

You will need atleast 20 more days of veg to be able to do that for bublegum and sensi star, chronic is a better producer so it will be easier, but ofc there is many variations so i can't tell you for sure that u will get 50g/plant

I dont think your going to be able to get that kind of yield under 1 400w light... ( plants under 1 400w would mean they have to stay pretty small or they will not all get enough light. If you flower a plant starting at 1 foot that means by the time they are done your looking at 2 - 3 foot plants. 9 2 - 3 foot plants under 1 400 w will just not fit IMO. Right now I have 3 X 2-3 ft plants under 1 400 w and 1 for sure is not getting enough light.

i am hoping to train them (LST), for a more efficient light distribution and penetration, i am aiming for 1g/w so i`m not aiming imposibly high, and i know i have big pots that will give me big plants. i have never grown this many big plants under a single light but i think that i got everything right. anyways thanks phrostbyte your post was very usefull, i will try to start flowering a litle bit sooner than 30cm.

I ran Chronic and Sensi Star last year. I loved Chronic - don't top it! But DO clone it if you can (it clones very well).
The sensi star had some of the largest trichs I've ever seen. The resin heads at the ends were very fat and it had a sweet spicy flavor. I'd love to try it again (I burned it because I was new to my 400w light).
You won't be disappointed and good luck! Awesome choices man!
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

thanx RasJeph, i have a chronic seed that i will keep as a mum, and also a pineaple chunk, the guys at barney's farm say it has 25% THC, i don`t think it`s that high but it has to be ok
edit: i have noticed root tips at the base of the pot so i switched the lights to 12/12 today3

how was the high from the chronic you grew? i only know that its a commercial strain, so i question the potency of it. good luck on this log, and welcome to the Growery Adrenal!

thanx for your welcome FurrowedBrow, everything is going well here, i think i have some crawlers on my plants but i`ll take care of them soon with some biobizz leaf coat or smth like that, i only saw one on a leaf, and no signs of attack yet.
they pictures are from day 27 of life and the 6th day of 12/12, they arn`t showing signs of flower yet maybe because they were young when i switched the lights, i am still keeping them on veg nutrients, added carbo load and nirvana, and i think i will keep them on bio grow until they show signs of flowers, after that i`ll give one week of bud blood, and only after that i will switch to canna bio flores.
The bubblegums
Sensi star, i think the one in the middle gets a litle to much light but she`s definetly the best of the pack, very thik stem and the bigest of them all and the chronics, i think this is a very stable strain, i can see very little variation
