I bought a sony vaio "F" on boxing day... but found it too heavy and bulky, its a good laptop for someone who isn't takin it out the house... but wasn't for me. its better for gaming i think but, i dont play vids on my comp.
So i returned it, and got a 15"macbook pro. it was $500 more but i am much more happy with it. takes a lil to get used to the layout and software, but its pretty sweet. and the reviews are much better then the sony
Macs are the bomb, especially the laptops. What cpu is in yours??
And the commands are pretty similar tO windows, just use the key next to the space bar, command or whatever its called.
Also get used to the trackpad shortcuts. Use one, two, three or four fingers in a swipIng motion in any direction to different things. Would explain more but im typing on my phone

Op system is way better then windows, plus the hot keys are sweet!. Also if your into making music or gaming they are better, most of the time.
I just don't use one because most of the programs i use are only windows compatible. Im sure i could make them work on the mac. But I'm happy with my dell. Using the mac for other things. Hope you enjoy it!

Command+C and Command+V to copy/pasta just like ctrl+c/v in windows. Or you can hold control and click something to bring up your right-click menu. You can also just regular right click with the mac track pad, but it's kind of difficult I usually only do it on accident.
