I never liked edibles because they never worked well for me.At least not the effects i want.Maybe its just a hi tolerance, but even the "best" edibles only work mediocre. I have tried plenty of local edibles and edibles from Amsterdam and cali dispensaries. i have never got high from any of them only a lil buz, and heavy, always heavy. recently i had the urge to give coconut oil a try. I made them with a diabetic recipe for rum cake so that i can share them. i used 4.2 grams of BHO 2.3 grams of iso extract and 4 grams of hash from bags 1+2 bubble bags 14 grams of sugar trim and various pre made tincture/extracts
The BHO and Iso were dissolved in heated 151 rum for about and hour- that was added to my coconut oil along with the four grams of hash. This got a 12 hour cook on low in a crock-pot. The 151 was added at that point just to get all of the hash oils out of there containers without making a mess.
the recipe called for buttermilk so i boiled some sugar trim in the butter milk for 3 hours filtered and saved the trim for a more intense coconut oil extraction.
i mixed all the ingredients and greased the pan with an abundance of pre made cannabutter that i had in my fridge. i cooked at 400 for 20 mins then covered with a slight brush of cannabutter. on the top i made a glaze out of spiced rum tincture that had sat for 3+ months more cannabutter and a glycerin tincture from cali. from all this i made 3 cakes and made 24 slices of edibles i test drove them yesterday and i must say they are pretty decent. not amazingly good. but i have never tried amazing edibles or anything better.
so thats THC greasing on the pan and cake 3g+/- bud THC coconut oil 4g BHO+ 6gother hash THC buttermilk 14g sugar leaves THC glazing(alcohol/cannabutter/glycerin) est.8g+/- 29 grams +/- into 24 slices. all in all i would say i couldn't add much more THC to this cake
my friend an I eat one slice split a 5 hour energy and went to paint one room in a house. a job that would normally take 3 hours took 5 and i didnt think about the time passing at all

I feel ya bout edibles never being strong enough, no matter how strong. I made some cookies that made 1 guy black out. Hit his head on the tub and everything. O, he blacked out while pissing. Another person, she ate a cookie and ended up possing her pants, literally. And they just made me yawn. To each their own I guess. Glad this batch did something for you. Sounds like something I would like to try.
I used press n seal to store my cookies. Made a little slot for each one so they were individually wrapped and then stuck them all in a large, airtight container. 3 months later they still taste as fresh as they were once they cooled from the oven.
Btw, I posted that recipe for the caps if you haven't had a chance to look. If you have that hi of a tolerance, I would suggest making them around 400mg-500mg for yourself. But don't give them to anyone, they will think you are trying to kill them
well i would have too but this was all for someone who cannot handle the oil and the hash was pretty shity.but hash non the less but anyway the person who i made them for fuckin loves them apparently after eating the first one he was playing with tinfoil (he's 67)lol he swears if he eats a whole one he can got to sleep normal hours and will sleep to 11AM and if he eats half he will sleep to 7 (hes an insomniac) so that's what its all about anyway. im glad.
