Sleath Grow Box Help (I'm new; Need tips)

Hey everyone! I am straight from the shroomery! I have tampered with growing in my passed, but never gave much thought to a full cycle grow.
Now, because of living space, the idea is just to have two or three low ryders in a convenient size grow box.
Now because it would be in a box, the only stealth issue would be the sweet smell of glory. But some house holds can't tolerate such beauty. So I was wondering if anyone could explain some procedures to eliminate this issue. Of course carbon filters! But as I explain, I'm very new and love details!
So here is a list of questions! White size box should I get? What kind of soil would benefit my grow the best? What kind of lighting should I be working with? What is the best plant for my grow? How can I eliminate any smell from escaping a contained box grow? (unopened of course) And what else should I think about for this project?
So some help with this shopping list would be awesome!
Thanks ahead!

What size box depends on how much room you have to work with and how much you want to get from your grow.
What is the best plant to grow is really a personal opinion... for the soil... do you want to use actual soil or a simple deep water culture hydroponic system. They don't cost that much and simple to make.

I would want soil. And plant does matter. I do understand you can trim the plant, but as far as my knowledge goes, there are auto flowering plants that bush out more than grow in height, which is what I would want and is good for new growers. But I can't be to sure because the whole nooby thing.
For the space, I would be willing to give up about 3X3 floor space. Maybe a bit more. As I said, I would only want 2 or 3 plants. Want some home made head smoke ya know?

I liked Happy Frog soil. You will need a carbon filter for sure to get rid of the odor. They make those pretty small. I think the best lighting for a box will be a LED. You can order seeds from various vendors online that send to the US. I have had success with Attitude. As far as the type, you need to research strains, but probably an indica, because they grow short and bushy and are easier to control in a small space. Good luck

My personal preference in soil is ProMix.
I've not experimented with auto-flowering genetics very much but I have had a sample of the Dinafem roadrunner seeds and that turned out pretty nice, definitely as potent or better than most of the photoperiod strains I've had.

Someone actual recommended LED lights! That's awesome... I hear so many people bash them yet I have seen such good results with them. Not cheap for a larger grow but for smaller size stuff it should work well.

Hi Icesyn I'm a newbie too. Love the avatar! I got a 11month old beardie myself, haha
For the smell, I will be running my exhaust fan through activated carbon. They sell em in aquariums cheap as! I dont know if you're gonna bother with an exhaust since led doesn't generate much heat, but if you are I think its the best/cheapest way to control odour.

You absolutely need air exchange regardless of heat. Plants need air.
They'll also grow a lot better if you have a fan blowing directly on them.

They don't NEED it. But if I'm working in a box then you are absolutely right.
