 How much pot is a lot to you?

When I first started smoking and heard of someone who smoked/vaporized an eight a day I was like  but now it's a lot more feasable.
When I talk to people who smoke over a few grams a day it stills seems like a lot, but still totally doable.
How much pot seems like a lot to smoke a day to you?
If I could and had the money I could totally smoke over a quarter a day if I wanted to.
But that kind of stuff isn't really doable until you start growing, which I will be doing soon. Right now I try to moke an eight last a couple weeks.

You also have to remember not everyone pays the same for an eighth as you do. In some cases, it's extremely cheap and easy to smoke that amount in a day. Especially if its shared

Very true! If you're growing a lot and you are getting ten dollar ounces, then it would be a lot easier. In Michigan right now an eight goes from 35-80, I never pay more than 50 or else I'd get sick.

I would never.
I normally pay 35-45, once in a while 50, and I know that it's far too expensive.
But until I start growing, gotta do what I gotta do.

if i could get qp's of mexican brick for real cheap i'd smoke like 5g or more a day. id just roll it all up and smoke blunts all day.
but with real good weed, its completely unessicary to smoke that much. even if i had 100lbs id still smoke it conservatively.
you can only be *so* high before you smoke yourself sober. it used to happen to me back in the day but its just a waste of good herb to do that.

I smoke .25g to 1g a day, usually only a couple hits though
on special occasions if multiple people throw down ill smoke a quarter or something, like at a new years party or something

I like having a low tolerance to bud, smoking to much these days causes slight anxiety but just enough to make me not want to smoke that much again
I usually smoke less than .1 in bowls when I smoke

i don't think you'd like smoking that much fractal.
personally - when i used to smoke heavy, it lost it's appeal. i stopped getting high. and dont give me the whole 'oh well your weed wasnt good enough then if you werent getting high'. i was smoking grade A out of a cano, and eventually it just stops getting you there.
so when i start again ill try to keep that from happening again.

I like smoking what I'm smoking now which is quite a few bowls a day
I need it for my stomach and also enjoy it a lot.
I could see my self smoking a lot more if i could afford it, but nothing too extreme

I agree with StilB
When I used to smoke heavy I would fiend for weed and even when I had it I wouldnt get "high"
I used to treat it like people treat other drugs
now I just use it as a little spice to my day and use it very sparingly and I feel this is how its meant to be done

Id like to be able to smoke at least...
~5-30g pot a day depending on people around me and quality of substance : D
also 5g quality hash, if its just shwag pot it takes like at least 8-10g a day if I want what I really want outta it ^^
varies alot, I just wanna be able to have a joint in the hand every half hour - hour.. Smoking is way chill :3

It depends on how much i have have. If i just finished a harvest I would probably smoke 5 grams a day or so, no problem. There was a time when I'd smoke 10-15 blunts everyday of the week. That was really shitty weed though. So the quality of the weed your smoking throws these kinds of comparisons off. Now-a-days I've got my medical card and can smoke as much as i can afford of the best weed around. If I had a million dollars I would probably try smoking 10 blunts a day of the best weed around. But at 50-60 for 3.5 grams that shit ain't feasible at all.

I don't think theres such a thing as too much herb. If we had too much it would be free or cheaper.
The fact that people are paying top $ for herb proves this.
When's the last time you heard somebody say.... "Oh...hey man, can you smoke this pound of hash for me I got extra"
If it was legal and you were allowed to grow 1,000,000,000,000 plants, I would probably never have to smoke bud again it would just be hash.
If you've "smoked yourself sober" maybe you just needed hash of another variety 
Elite buds sometimes take my pain away, but I usually have to hit up expensive hash to get relief.... and I mean expensive 
Apparently I haven't found out what too much is

I buy a half everyday, but I know people buying quaps every few days.
Smoking a lot is like 3.5-4 grams a day

My friend jim owns apartments and doesn't work, so he smokes all day, over the summer we were smoking almost a ounce every few hours (2-4), which is a lot cause i usually only smoke 2-3 grams a day

As far as daily consumption goes, anything over 3.5g a day seems ridiculous to me unless you're smoking/eating it for medical reasons rather than just wanting to get high. Really though, even 2g a day seems like quite a bit to me.
I just don't like to be stoned out of my gourd 24/7. A smoke session or two a day is all I partake in and a gram lasts me five to seven days, I have kept my intake at about a gram a week for the past two years. Even when I start growing and have a decent supply on hand I don't see my intake increasing all that much, perhaps up to 0.5g a day & every once in a while rolling up a big one. Like I said, I don't like being stoned all the time, and when I do smoke I don't like getting all that faded, a small joint or a few rips and I am good. Going all out smoking large amounts in one sitting and smoking multiple times a day gets old real quick....

yeah medical patients are interesting cases
I am one and a lot of times I need to smoke more to help medically than I do to get  , so both always happens, and both are medicines.
