superskunk and tricome development

Growin out nirvanas superskunk outdoors. It's flowering nicely, but is not producing any tricomes. Is this something to be expected with this strain?

i have never done it outdoors. inside it was always coated in sugar and sticky as hell.

How many weeks is it? And have you checked it with a scope? They might just be weird little baby ones. I had that happen once. Edit: Sorry if that sounds patronizing. Judging by your avatar you know what you're doing. I'm just stating the obvious

Just about 7 weeks. I'm gonna pick up a loupe in a few days to check on all of my plants. So I guess I'll have more of an idea then.
