Developing new strain - Final Fantasy

I'm thinking about crossing a first generation female 'LSD' strain plant with a male first generation 'mako haze' strain plant. I'm thinking about nameing it either Jenova or Final Fantasy. For those of you who are wondering what those names are from, it's an old playstation 1 videogame. The story behind it is that there is this evil company called shinra and they are draining the world of it's (mako) energy through big reactors to fuel their Jenova project. The project is trying to reanimate an old lady called Jenova which is really a synthtic being. It's a really cool game with awesome graphics and an epic storyline. There are some PC ROMS out there for it too I believe Here is a trailer for the game:
Also, I could use some help in finding seeds. I'm not looking to spend more than $50 on any, but I need 5 of each. If anyone knows of any suppliers that offer a similar rate, I'd really appreciate a link. Thanks, and let me know what you all think about this.

So will jenkem.
Are you really asking people to take you seriously? You don't have the genetics yet and you are asking about naming a plant that you haven't grown out the parents or tested for actual results. Developing a worthwhile variety is much more than dusting a female with pollen and giving it a name.
BTW - I really liked Final Fantasy #1 on NES. Also played it again recently on an emulator.

I'll do some research on crossing strains and get back to you all. I do remember studying plant hybrids in High School Biology, so I have a basic knowledge.

Check out some books. Jorge Cervantes wrote "marijuana horticulture: a medical mj growers bible" fair book covering genetics, and breeding. Besides the facts of how you got the name's chronological history, I'd like to hear about what you're breeding...

Well, upon hearing about the Mako Haze strain, it reminded me of the Final Fantasy series. I always thought it was a very cool fantasy game and figured I could cross the Mako stain (for reference) with an LSD plant (to add to the fantasy theme) and come up with something cool and relevant. I could only find femmed LSD seeds, so I'm hopeing that at least one of my 5 (in the mail) mako seeds will be male. I've done some reading on strain crossing, and didn't really learn much more than I already knew. It's basically a matter of pollenating the female with a male. Which isn't too hard with MJ.

look up colloidal silver, ((colloidal siver x female plant) x female plant) = female seeds

My seeds should be arriving in the mail tomorrow, that is if there weren't any problems in customs. I don't know of any, nor was I notified of any seizures. So I should be in the clear. I think what I'm going to do is grow two LSD females in my tent and grow my mako haze in a seperate environment. I don't know if I should grow them in soil and then take clones of the males. I'll probably end up doing that just to be safe.

I've got 4 Femmed LSD seeds and 4 Mako Haze seeds in germination right now. Unfortunately, I dropped one of my Mako Haze seeds on my carpet and couldn't find it. Hopefully I'll get at least one male out of the 4 Mako Haze seeds. The LSD ladies will be going into my tent in a DWC culture. I haven't decided on where I'm going to put the Mako Haze yet.

Spray down the carpet with water and wait for it to germinate.

I thought about that Jeph, but then forgot it. =) It sucks though, because those Mako Haze seeds were $15 a piece. The packaging sucked on them though, it was in a little bubble which was really hard to open. 4 of my seeds fell on the floor when I opened it, and I was only able to get one back. I really hope I get at least one male.

when you said that i hadn't even really read what he said that, but then I seriously started laughing so hard because he literally tracked off so much from the original point and he thought we gave a shit about Final Fantasy. I'm guessing we all know what Final Fantasy is since that series has probably been around since most of us were kids...
also you nailed what he said so perfectly lol.
