 Help with weed brownies

Hello, this is for a friend of mine, he wants to make weed brownies for the first time, he bought some Lemon Jack weed, really pricey, and I don't want him to fuck things up, he doesn't know what he is doing!
I want to know, is it possible to make weed brownies without making cannabutter? If so, could you please give me a recipe?
If not, can you please explain me how to do some, easilly,(pics would be just incredible). I know I am asking a lot 
He is planning on using around 7 grams, is there anything worth cooking with this?

Thanks you very much man, I will tell him this, I really appreciate! 
He is trying to convince his psychologist to give him a medicinal marijuana card, here it is total crap to get, he also want to stop smoking, or at least smoke less, for his lungs...
One more question, should he try to cook it with a cheaper weed for the first try? Just in case he fuck things up, I know him...

I would, its pretty hard to fuck up but I guess it could be done. Just be sure to use more if you use some mids or whatever.
